Mjöll bedeutet übersetzt Neuschnee. Den Namen bekam die zuverlässige und sensible Stute aufgrund ihrer Farbe. Wie ihre Mutter ist auch sie ein Schimmel. Mjöll ist ein ganz feines und ruhiges Pferd. Aufgrund ihrer netten Art versucht sie es dem Menschen immer recht zu machen. Dies führt allerdings leicht dazu dass sie ausgenutzt werden kann. Gerät sie an den falschen Reiter erduldet sie ihn und leidet still vor sich hin. Mjöll ist aber so ein Schatz dass ihr das Schicksal hoffentlich erspart bleibt. Mit dem richtigen Reiter geht sie durch dick und dünn, ist bemüht und auch fleißig.
Unterm Sattel ist sie sehr willig, jedoch ist es nicht ganz leicht den Schwung bei ihr herauszureiten, hierfür bedarf es schon einen isländererfahrenen Reiter. Ihr Tölt ist sicher, neigt jedoch bei falschem Reiten mit zu harter Hand und zu viel Druck zum Pass. Am liebsten ist Mjöll im Gelände unterwegs, ob in der Gruppe oder alleine, auf Mjöll ist verlass, sie geht an allen Positionen, wenn sie mal erschrickt macht sie nur einen kleinen Satz rennt aber auch nicht davon.
Bis jetzt wurde sie vor allem dressurmäßig auf dem Platz geritten und im Gelände geritten. Ihre Ausbildung basierte auf sehr viel Bodenarbeit. Da sie sehr respektvoll mit dem Menschen umgeht macht es mit ihr richtig Spaß zu arbeiten und sie hat auch sehr viel Freude dabei. Sicher wäre es möglich mit ihr Zirkuslektionen zu trainieren.
