Bjandýr ist ein kleiner Frechdachs und lässt sich immer wieder etwas neues einfallen um seinen Pfelger auf Trab zu halten, er ist recht verspielt was ihn aber sehr kreativ macht. Mit Brandýr wird es garantiert nie langweilig.
Er ist ein begeisterter Springer und auch wenn es ihm an Talent fehlt, macht er das mit Motivation fast wett. Freispringend überspringt er nochmal deutlich mehr als unterm Reiter und im Gelände zeigt er, dass er wirklich alles springt was irgendwie geht. So wäre er auch für leichte Geländeprüfungen geeignet, würde ihm nicht einfach grundsätzlich das Potential fehlen.
In der Dressur zeigt Bjandýr sich lernfähig, jedoch ist er sehr flatterhaft und in seinen Gedanken ständig woanders. Man verbringt viel Zeit damit, ständig seine Konzentration wieder einzufangen, und dadurch sinkt seine Lerngeschwindigkeit enorm. Gerade neue Sachen sollte er daher an ruhigen Stellen lernen und es bietet sich grundsätzlich an eher in die Halle zu gehen als auf den Platz. Da Bjandýr erst spät kastriert wurde, ist er nicht immer leicht zu händeln. Viel ist bei ihm tagesformabhängig und wo er sich heute brav führen lässt und nur einen kurzen Moment zu den Stuten schielt, ist es vielleicht bereits morgen besser, wenn man eine Hengstkette dabei hat.
Bjandýr ist Fünfgänger mit sehr ausgeprägtem Tölt den er in jedem Tempi ansprechend zeigen kann. Sein Pass ist ausreichend vorhanden um ihm später einzupassen, auf Turnieren reicht es damit aber nur für die leichten Fünfgang- und Passprüfungen.
