Sabatino ist ein selbstbewusster, gewissermaßen einzigartiger Hengst. Natürlich, jedes Pferd ist irgendwo einzigartig und selbst, wenn man nicht daran glaubt, so gibt es doch mehr als nur diesen Braunen mit Hengstmanieren. Doch der 2 nach Descando geborene Deutsche Reitponyhengst verkörpert viel mehr, als einen typischen Hengst, der neben seinem Temperament auch noch wunderschöne Gangarten zu präsentieren weiß. Manchmal ist er, wie ein menschlicher Freund, der seinen eigenen Willen hat, der einen versteht und mit dem man reden kann. Nicht immer folgt Sabatino seinem Reiter, wenn er selbst einen anderen Weg für Besser erachtet. Will man mit dem braunen Hengst befreundet sein, so muss man einiges mitbringen, was Sabatino verlangt. Eine gewisse Erfahrung im Umgang mit Pferden ist unbedingt von Nöten, ebenso wie Verständnis, Geduld und Ruhe, aber auch Durchsetzungsvermögen brauch man für dieses doch sehr anspruchsvolle Reitpony. Hat man jedoch genau die richtige Mischung aus alle dem, was Sabatino verlangt, getroffen, so hat man einen Freund fürs Leben gewonnen. Turniere, Zucht oder einfach Freizeitspaß - alle Wege stehen einem nun offen.
