Stormy is wary of new people and it takes time to gain his trust, especially in the saddle. It took him longer to settle into his new home and to get to know the people working with him, but eventually he just flourished. He enjoys spending time with his groom and the familiar stable workers and is gaining Cathrin's trust in the saddle. Stormy is just a big goof and a bit messy. He has no sense of order or cleanliness when eating and his feed can be found all over the stall - luckily, he still manages to eat most of it. He likes to fiddle with blankets, saddle pads, brushes ... Anything that is in a reachable distance from his muzzle. He is very okay with all grooming procedures, as long as he gets cuddles in between.

When Stormy is trusting his rider, he will go to the end of the Earth for them. He is very willing and tries his best, which makes him a good learner and lovely training companion. Stormy has strong movement, and even though he learns new things, it takes time for him to be able to control his body and movement properly.

With other horses Stormy likes to be the top stallion. He's not basically aggressive, but can be assertive if other horses won't bend to his will. He can be a bit spicy towards other horses in the competition warm-up, so it's good to keep space. Otherwise he might give warning shots with his hooves if other horses come too close. Same goes when hacking with other horses. Stormy is fine with company and doesn't necessarily react to other horses being jumpy, but if they get too close to him he will tell them to back off.
