"Sacajawea ist im Training durch ihr eigenwilliges Verhalten eine sehr große Herausforderung. Gerne zwickt sie oder wirft die Bürsten weg, stößt Dinge um und ärgert auf der Weide die rangniedrigeren. Beim Reiten bockt sie ab und an und diskutiert wortwörtlich immer, weswegen sie früher bei Turnieren nie besonders erfolgreich lief. Als Zuchtstute allerdings zeigt sie sich liebenswürdig und geduldig. Auch als Ammenstute konnten wir sie bereits einsetzen und das ohne ein Zögern ihrerseits! Wer ihr Fohlen liebt, der hat sich erst ihr Sacajaweas Vertrauen erarbeitet - und tatsächlich bemerkt man bei diesen Menschen, dass die Stute sich auch von ihrer erzogenen, sanften Seite zeigen kann. Auf Turnieren sehen wir Sacajawea nur nicht mehr, sie wird in der Zucht bleiben."
