Eidothea weiß definitiv wie man sich durchsetzt und das sowohl gegenüber anderen Pferden (wobei sie nie Ambitionen dazu hat Leitstute zu sein), als auch Menschen. Auf ihre kecke Art ist sie manchmal eine kleine Herausforderung und wenn man einmal klein bei gibt, hat man schnell auf lange Zeit bei der Stute verloren. Besonders wenn es um Leckerlies geht, kann sie manchmal regelrecht aufdringlich werden, wenn man sie nicht konsequent in ihre Schranken weist. An sich ist sie ansonsten sehr ruhigen im Umgang und generell eher gemütlich, kann aber auch ganz anders. Und das passiert immer genau dann, wenn sie merkt, dass es um mehr geht als nur das normale Training. Vom nervösen Tänzeln, über Scharren bis hin zu richtig aufdrehen ist bei der Stute dann alles dabei, sodass man sich schon mal darauf einstellen sollte, wenn man sich mit ihr länger beschäftigen möchte. Ansonsten sollte man bei ihr noch beachten, dass sie etwas kopfscheu ist und vor allem eine große Abneigung gegen Tierärzte im Allgemeinen und Impfungen im Besonderen hat.
Mittlerweile läuft Eidothea schon sehr souverän und entspannt vor dem Ein- und Zweispänner auf E-Niveau, könnte aber sicherlich noch im Einspänner bis M und im Zweispänner bis S ausgebildet werden. Zudem würde sie sich auch für den Vierspänner (bis auf M-Niveau) eignen. Ihre Ausbildung unter dem Sattel hat gerade erst begonnen, hier könnte sie allerdings bis zur L-Dressur weiter kommen.
