Eucalyptus ist ein selbstbewußter, fordernder Hengst mit Sonderlakierung.
Er fordert seinen Menschen gerne heraus, und langweilig wird es mit dem schicken Hengst nicht. Er will immer genau wissen wie weit er gehen kann und hängt im Umgang schon auch mal den Macho raus und rempelt auch mal gerne wenn man ihm keinen Einhalt gebietet. Wer ein Pferd sucht mit dem er sich messen kann und es auch gerne mal flott mag ist mit Eucalyptus sehr gut bedient. Durch seine selbstbewußte Art scheint er auch keine Furcht zu kennen, erschrecken tut er sich äußerst selten, und wenn dies passiert dann auch meistens nur weil sein Reiter nicht aufmerksam war und er ihn quasi testen möchte.
Hat man den richtigen Draht zu Eucalyptus gefunden hat man mit ihm ein sehr arbeitswilliger und leistungsbreiter Freund an seiner Seite. Er kann sich durch seine Machoart auch super präsentieren und eine riesen Show machen.
Unterm Sattel ist er vielseitig einsetzbar, sowohl im Dressurviereck als auch im Parcours macht er eine gute Figur, wobei ihm die Dressurreiterei noch mehr Freude bereitet. Kraftvoll federt er mühelos durchs Viereck und liebt es sich zu präsentieren.
Auf dem Turnier legt der Hengst noch immer eine Schippe oben drauf, er weiß genau wann es von ihm erwartet wird sich bestens zu präsentieren, man hat das Gefühl er liebt die Turnieratmosphäre. Er tänzelt dann zwar erst mal nervös umher, wiehert theatralisch, aber ist er dann im Parcours oder im Dressurviereck ist er voll bei der Sache und liefert ab.
Im Gelände ist Eucalyptus immer etwas stürmisch, besonders in großen Gruppen kann es schon mal schwer fallen ihn zu regulieren. Da braucht er eine sehr erfahrene und konsequente Hand.
