Peggy Sue ist eine eher unauffällige Stute. Doch sobald sie das Dressurviereck betritt, scheint sie zu schweben und zieht viele Blicke auf sich. Die Dressur macht ihr Spaß und das merkt man ihr an. Ihr macht es Spaß neue Lektionen zu lernen, obwohl sie nicht immer leicht zu reiten ist. Doch ein erfahrene Reiter kommt gut mit ihr klar und dann kann sie sich auch gut konzentrieren.

Beim Springen hat sie zwar auch Spaß, aber nur solange es über nicht allzu hohe Hindernisse geht. Wird es ihr zu hoch, wird sie vorsichtig und verweigert lieber als das Risiko einzugehen, doch zu springen.

Im Gelände ist Peggy Sue total entspannt und man kann sie auch ohne Sattel gut reiten. Sie ist sehr geländesicher und ihr macht es nichts aus, ob jetzt mal ein Vogel wegflattert oder ein Trecker an ihr vorbei fährt.

Im Umgang ist sie sehr lieb, außer wenn sie genervt ist. Dann bockt sie, aber lässt dabei niemanden zu Schaden kommen. Zu Menschen fast sie schnell Vertrauen und hat dann meistens ein gutes Verhältnis zu ihnen.
