scheu, bleibt lieber für sich, nicht wirklich verschmust, bevorzugt es, nur kurz geputzt zu werden, an sich sehr robust, verträgt jedoch Kälte nicht gut, bleibt gern ein wenig auf Distanz, zeigt aber trotzdem Interesse an Menschen und Pferden, wird nervös, wenn sie alleine gelassen wird, in der Herde recht rangniedrig und häufig abseits, beim Spielen aber meistens mittendrin, durch ihre zurückhaltende Art recht einfach im Handling, in der Gruppe ein absolutes Verlasspferd, alleine noch häufig ein bisschen unsicher
Ebony hat keine Bewegungen, die den Zuschauer in Staunen versetzen - aber die braucht sie als potenzielles Vielseitigkeitspferd auch gar nicht. Ihr Trab ist raumgreifend, aber ohne übermäßig viel Aktion, ihr Galopp schnell und energiesparend. Würde sie nicht so eine unglaubliche Freude am Springen zeigen, hätten wir sie vielleicht in den Distanzsport geschickt. Aber Ebonys Herz schlägt für die Vielseitigkeit.
