Kobus hat sich aus einem kleinen schwarzen Hengstfohlen zu einem kraftvollen, wunderschönen und arbeitswilligen Hengst entwickelt.
Er strotzt nur so vor Kraft und braucht viel Beschäftigung. Dennoch besitzt er ein angenehmes, gut kontrollierbares Temperament und einen braven Charakter. Kobus ist sehr lernwillig und hat eine schnelle Auffassungsgabe, sodass er neue Aufgaben schnell verinnerlicht und Gelerntes auch schnell wieder abrufen kann. Der Hengst ist außerdem sehr lieb im Umgang und sein Hengstverhalten ist nicht so stark ausgeprägt wie bei manch anderem Vertreter seines Geschlechts. Besonders genießt er langes Putzen und Kraulen. Kobus zeigt tolle Grundgangarten und eine gute Veranlagung zum dressurmäßigen Arbeiten. Dort liegt definitiv seine Stärke. Zur Abwechslung von der Arbeit im Viereck ist er auch sehr gerne im Gelände unterwegs und überwindet gerne den ein oder anderen Sprung. Das Springen macht ihm Spaß, liegt ihm aber nicht so sehr, da er manchmal noch Probleme hat dabei seine Beine zu sortieren.
