Der schicke Holsteiner RGE Quo Vadis kommt von seinem Temperament her ganz nach seiner Mutter, wie sie ist auch er sehr gern ziemlich flott unterwegs und dabei dann kaum zu bremsen. Er kann auch schonmal recht aufbrausend und ungestüm sein, da er sich an manchen Tagen auch sehr hengstig benommen hat und für die Zucht weniger interessant ist, wurde er 8jährig gelegt. Noch immer zeigt Quo großes Interesse an fremden Pferden, im Grunde ziehen alle Pferde, die nicht zu seinen Kumpels gehören, seine Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Er fokusiert dann ganz auf den Artgenossen und kaum auf seinen Trainer, abgesehen davon haben sich seine Hengstmanieren aber weitgehend gelegt - kein Steigen, kein Losreißen, kein Tänzeln, nur selten ein Hals aufwölben und Wiehern.
In der Dressur ist Quo manchmal etwas zu ungeduldig, da er lieber richtig rennen möchte, als seine Beine zu kreuzen oder ständig die Gangart zu wechseln - er kann galoppieren, und das reicht ja wohl. Dieses Problem hat man bei Quo eigentlich bei jeder Beschäftigung außer dem Parcoursspringen, wo man aus dem Wallach einiges heraus holen kann. Auch hier hat er ein gewisses Grundtempo, das nicht jeder Reiter im Griff hat, kann man seine Konzentration aber gut sammeln, springt er stets routiniert und gleichmäßig, egal welches Tempo er hat.
