Blackberry erinnert total an ihre Mutter. Wie diese ist auch sie in ihren jungen Jahren noch wild und voller Energie und Temperament. Derzeit ist Blacky gern mal ein wenig zickig zu anderen Pferden und allgemein Tieren, wenn diese nicht nach ihrer Nase tanzen. Dennoch, mit Schreckhaftigkeit hat man bei ihr nie zu kämpfen, denn dieses Gefühl scheint sie nicht zu kennen. Mutig stellt sie sicher jeder neuen Herausforderung.
So auch unter dem Sattel. Als Friese ist sie natürlich ein totales Dressurpferd, was man im Training auch sieht. Schwungvolle, schwebende Gänge mit viel Raumgriff zeigt sie und kann sich auch super gut auf die Lektionen konzentrieren. Aber auch im Springen schlägt sie sich nicht zu schlecht. Als wir sie zum ersten Mal mit den Sprüngen konfrontierte, wusste sie gar nicht was wir von ihr wollten. Die ersten Sprünge waren sicher äußerst lustig mit anzusehen aber mittlerweile wäre sie sogar für einen Turnierparcours der Klasse E bereit.
