Dieses Stütchen ist eine pragmatische Dame mit einem ausgeprägten Sinn für Gerechtigkeit und Futter. Sie ist das Gegenteil von hektisch; ihr Grundzustand ist ein energiesparendes Abwarten. In der Box empfängt sie Besucher oft demonstrativ mit dem Hinterteil, dreht sich aber sofort um, sobald sie das Knistern einer Tüte hört. Ihr Futterneid ist legendär: Bekommt der Nachbar sein Heu zuerst, tritt sie protestierend gegen die Wand und legt die Ohren flach in den Nacken.
Beim Putzen ist sie „kitzelig“ und meinungsstark. Sobald die Bürste an den Bauch oder die Gurtlage kommt, hebt sie drohend ein Hinterbein und zeigt das Weiße im Auge – ein reines Schauspiel, denn sie tritt selten wirklich, will aber die Grenzen wahren. Unter dem Reiter agiert sie wie eine strenge Lehrerin: Unklare oder unruhige Hilfen ignoriert sie stumpf oder quittiert sie mit genervtem Schweifschlagen. Sie schenkt nichts her und testet täglich, wie konsequent ihr Reiter ist. Doch hat man sie einmal auf seiner Seite, verwandelt sie sich: Sie schnaubt ab, kaut zufrieden und wird zum verlässlichsten Partner im Stall, der auch im größten Trubel die Nerven behält – solange ihr kein anderes Pferd zu nah auf die Pelle rückt, denn dann wird sofort schrill gequietscht.
